Fleet Partners Group (FPG) is a consortium of ambitious, experienced, fair, flexible, hardworking and logical, forward-thinking people committed to providing fleets with cost effective, reliable products and services while earning long-term, mutually-beneficial business partnerships. Our proactive business processes reduce fleet cost, providing superior service, ensuring reasonable financial return, and solid, long-term customers for vendors.

A primary goal of Fleet Partners Group is to develop long term beneficial business relationships with decision makers. We focus on understanding the vendor approval process, expectations, needs, procedures, and protocol required to do good business. Once aforementioned is understood our team will facilitate relationships with approved vendors owned by good people. Per request we will intercede and become involved with current relationships to improve communication, efficiency, performance and relationships. Fleet Partners Group will manage the relationship between Fleets and Vendors ensuring a mutually beneficial financial return plus excellent communication.

As experienced entrepreneurs with a history of providing superior service yielding cost-effective results we understand the challenge of operating local, regional and national organizations in a financially responsible way. Fleet Partners Group markets and represents our group of selected vendors with the utmost professionalism. We will add vendors to the group when, and where necessary that will enhance “footprint” coverage plus improve efficiency and profitability.

Fixed assets (i.e. Buildings, Computers, Tools & Vehicles) cannot hear or speak to customers. Most Managers and/or Sales people have never been properly trained to represent organizations in a continual professional manner. Conflict resolution is something many people are not trained to handle properly. We provide mentoring to key individuals for those vendors desiring such ensuring key players embrace continual, methodic, organized, and professional processes emphasizing follow up and follow through. Our Mentoring will enhance fleet partnerships providing additional business opportunities from current and prospective customers.

Capable and compliant vendors owned by good people interested in becoming an Approved Fleet Partners Group Vendor receiving Management, Marketing, and Mentoring pay a “gentlemen’s agreement” monthly fee acceptable to both parties plus we desire additional monthly incentive compensation for new business facilitated. Fleet Partners Group will invoice the vendor agreed amount the first week of every month; payment expected within 15 days.

Fleet Partners Group will find necessary people to fill desired positions for an agreed fee which will be paid once a 90-day probation period has been accomplished. The utmost communication and professionalism will be conducted to minimize alienation of fleets for pertinent situations.

Fleet Partners Group is pleased to announce that Substantial Private Investors have joined forces with us. These investors are high quality, successful people who understand our industry and Fleet Partners Group desire for “one stop shopping” from Regional Companies. For those interested in merging, partnering or selling, etc. we have been tasked with performing due diligence, packaging, and recommending situations deemed good long term for our group of approved vendors. Confidentiality will be provided while exploring potential situations deemed fair, logical and reasonable for all parties involved.

History & Bio

Fleet Partners Group was founded in 2016 by Dan Tarulli after a 47-year career in the Commercial Tire Business. During that time he served in various capacities with two large corporations and then owned his own small business for 20 years. Feedback from Key Decision Makers at large fleets was instrumental in the business model he has developed and followed. Admiration and a “real life” understanding of the anguish and challenge Entrepreneurs face in starting and growing a business was also instrumental.

Dan was born and raised in Dover, Ohio, graduating from Muskingum College with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Speech Communication, which prepared him to embark on aspirations and dreams. His first Administrative position with Michelin Tire in Chicago, Illinois, taught him the importance of efficient logical procedures and processes necessary for any size organization to succeed.

Dan’s first outside sales experience as Michelin’s Territory Manager for the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island, boroughs of New York City, was a maturing experience dealing with any and all types of people. His stint as a District Truck Tire Manager in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area brought the first experience “managing & mentoring” people.

Fulfilling his dream to live in Southern California led to becoming Bridgestone Tire’s first Fleet Sales Rep for that area. After several promotions, he became Bridgestone’s first National Fleet Sales Manager, hiring, training, and mentoring a growing substantial sales force. Additionally, he designed Bridgestone’s first rendition of Central National Account billing programs so prevalent with today’s environment. He was instrumental in leading Bridgestone to begin doing business with a growing number of large national fleets.

After spending a brief time in Japan with Bridgestone’s International Management Team, Dan made the move to become an entrepreneur, working for two family-owned commercial tire and retread companies, eventually buying a small company which became Tarulli Tire Inc. TTI was a Bandag retreader, Bridgestone, Goodyear, and Michelin new truck tire dealer, becoming a significant company. Tarulli Tire. Inc. was sold to Parkhouse Tire in 2014. Dan stayed on board for two years, fulfilling his obligation to successfully transition customers.

The aforementioned experiences have provided the necessary background to make marketing, management and mentoring available to companies desiring to grow their business in a “financially responsible way.” Fleet Partners Group now performs these services for a growing consortium of companies desiring to do business with fleets.
