Dan Tarulli

Fleet Partners Group was founded in 2016 by Dan Tarulli after a 47-year career in the Commercial Tire Business. During that time he served in various capacities with two large corporations and then owned his own small business for 20 years. Feedback from Key Decision Makers at large fleets was instrumental in the business model he has developed and followed. Admiration and a “real life” understanding of the anguish and challenge Entrepreneurs face in starting and growing a business was also instrumental.

Dan was born and raised in Dover, Ohio, graduating from Muskingum College with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Speech Communication, which prepared him to embark on aspirations and dreams. His first Administrative position with Michelin Tire in Chicago, Illinois, taught him the importance of efficient logical procedures and processes necessary for any size organization to succeed.

Dan’s first outside sales experience as Michelin’s Territory Manager for the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island, boroughs of New York City, was a maturing experience dealing with any and all types of people. His stint as a District Truck Tire Manager in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area brought the first experience “managing & mentoring” people.

Fulfilling his dream to live in Southern California led to becoming Bridgestone Tire’s first Fleet Sales Rep for that area. After several promotions, he became Bridgestone’s first National Fleet Sales Manager, hiring, training, and mentoring a growing substantial sales force. Additionally, he designed Bridgestone’s first rendition of Central National Account billing programs so prevalent with today’s environment. He was instrumental in leading Bridgestone to begin doing business with a growing number of large national fleets.

After spending a brief time in Japan with Bridgestone’s International Management Team, Dan made the move to become an entrepreneur, working for two family-owned commercial tire and retread companies, eventually buying a small company which became Tarulli Tire Inc. TTI was a Bandag retreader, Bridgestone, Goodyear, and Michelin new truck tire dealer, becoming a significant company. Tarulli Tire. Inc. was sold to Parkhouse Tire in 2014. Dan stayed on board for two years, fulfilling his obligation to successfully transition customers.

The aforementioned experiences have provided the necessary background providing financial fuel, marketing and mentoring to companies desiring growing their business in a “financially responsible way.”
